Use about 18 inches of floss
Wrap most of it around your middle fingers
Leave 1 to 2 inches of floss between your hands
Hold the floss tightly between your thumbs and index fingers
Gently slide the floss between two teeth
Do not snap the floss into the gums
Curve the floss into a C shape against one tooth
Move it up and down along the side of the tooth
Go slightly under the gumline
Repeat on the other side of the same gap
Use a clean section of floss for each new space
Floss every tooth, including the back teeth
Floss once a day
Be gentle to avoid damaging gums
Rinse your mouth after flossing if needed
