Wait until the sprouts are firm, green, and about 1 to 2 inches wide
Start harvesting from the bottom of the stalk upward
Twist or snap each sprout off at the base
Remove yellowing leaves as you harvest
Harvest lower sprouts first to allow upper sprouts to continue growing
Pick after a light frost for better flavor if possible
Cut the entire stalk at the base if you want to harvest all remaining sprouts at once
Store harvested sprouts in the refrigerator and use soon after picking
