Remove the valve cap
Unscrew the small knurled nut at the top of the valve
Press the valve briefly to release it if needed
Attach a pump head or adapter for a Presta/French valve
Lock the pump head in place
Inflate to the recommended pressure
Remove the pump head
Tighten the small knurled nut
Replace the valve cap
