Measure the wall space and mark the pegboard location
Find and mark wall studs
Cut the pegboard to size if needed
Install furring strips or spacers on the wall
Level the strips and secure them to studs
Place the pegboard over the strips
Mark and drill pilot holes through the pegboard
Fasten the pegboard to the strips with screws and washers
Check that the pegboard is secure and level
Install pegboard hooks and accessories
