How To Make Raspberry Jam?

Rinse 4 cups fresh raspberries

Place raspberries in a saucepan

Add 2 cups sugar

Add 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Mash the berries lightly

Heat over medium heat, stirring often

Bring to a boil

Reduce heat and simmer until thickened

Skim off any foam

Test the jam on a chilled plate

Remove from heat when it reaches desired thickness

Pour into sterilized jars

Let cool before sealing

Refrigerate or process for storage
