Preheat oven to 425°F
Trim the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow outer leaves
Cut larger sprouts in half
Place sprouts in a bowl
Add olive oil, salt, and black pepper
Toss to coat evenly
Spread sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer
Place cut sides down for better browning
Roast for 20 to 30 minutes
Flip once halfway through if desired
Remove when browned and tender
Serve immediately
