How To Make Tuna?

Choose fresh tuna steaks or canned tuna

If using fresh tuna, pat dry with paper towels

Season with salt, pepper, and any desired spices

Heat a skillet, grill, or pan over medium-high heat

Add a small amount of oil if cooking fresh tuna

Cook fresh tuna for 1 to 3 minutes per side for rare to medium-rare

Cook longer if you prefer it more done

Remove from heat and let rest briefly

If using canned tuna, drain the liquid

Mix canned tuna with mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper if making tuna salad

Add chopped celery, onion, or pickles if desired

Serve tuna with rice, salad, bread, or pasta
