Lay the jeans flat on a smooth surface
Smooth out wrinkles and align the legs
Find the crotch seam where the inseams meet
Measure from the crotch seam down the inside of one leg to the bottom hem
Use a tape measure and keep it straight along the inner seam
Record the length in inches or centimeters
Repeat on the other leg if needed to check for consistency
