Rinse the floor well and let it dry completely
Repair cracks, holes, and damaged areas with concrete patch filler
Sand or grind rough spots, old paint, and uneven areas
Remove all dust with a vacuum and damp mop
Test for moisture before painting
Apply a concrete etcher or primer if needed
Tape off walls, trim, and edges
Stir the concrete floor paint thoroughly
Cut in along edges with a brush
Apply the first coat with a roller or paint sprayer
Let the first coat dry fully
Apply a second coat if needed
Allow the final coat to cure completely before walking on it
Wait longer before moving furniture back in
Use a sealer if recommended for added durability
