Turn on the device you want to control
Insert fresh batteries into the RCA universal remote
Find the correct code for your device in the RCA code list
Press and hold the device button on the remote
While holding the device button, press and hold the Power button
Release both buttons when the remote light turns on
Enter the code using the number buttons
Wait for the light to turn off
Test the remote functions
If the device does not respond, repeat the steps with another code
If no code works, use the code search method
Press and hold the device button and Power button again
Release when the light turns on
Press the Play or Power button repeatedly until the device turns off
Press Stop to save the code
Test the remote again
Replace the batteries if programming fails
Make sure you are using the correct device button for your equipment
