Park the car outside the garage
Turn the ignition to accessory or on mode
Locate the garage door opener buttons in the car
Clear any existing programmed codes if needed
Hold the desired button in the car until the indicator light flashes
Press and hold the garage door remote button near the car
Wait for the car’s indicator light to change or flash rapidly
Release both buttons
Press the programmed car button to test the garage door
If required, press the Learn button on the garage door opener motor
Return to the car and press the programmed button again within the required time
Repeat if the door does not respond
Save the programmed setting if prompted by the vehicle system
