Turn off the main power supply
Verify the panel is de-energized with a voltage tester
Remove the panel cover
Identify the circuit breaker to be removed
Disconnect the wire from the breaker terminal
Release the breaker from the bus bar
Remove the breaker from the panel
Install a replacement breaker or secure the panel as needed
Reattach the panel cover
Restore power and test the circuit
