Apply rubbing alcohol to a cloth and rub the residue
Use warm soapy water for light residue
Apply white vinegar and let it sit briefly
Use a small amount of cooking oil or adhesive remover for stubborn residue
Wipe the area clean with a damp cloth
Repeat as needed until the residue is gone
Dry the surface thoroughly
