Rinse the silver under warm water and dry thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth
Use a silver polishing cloth and polish gently in straight strokes, then buff dry
For heavier tarnish, use silver polish or silver dip according to the product directions
Line a bowl with aluminum foil, add hot water, add baking soda (about 1 tablespoon per cup), place silver in the solution, and remove when tarnish fades, then rinse and dry
Make a paste of baking soda and water, apply lightly with a soft cloth, gently rub, rinse, and dry
Use a non-abrasive silver cleaner/cream designed for tarnish removal, following label directions, then rinse and dry
Use white vinegar soak for 2–5 minutes (for light tarnish), then rinse and dry thoroughly
Avoid abrasive sponges, steel wool, and harsh cleaners
Avoid prolonged soaking in any solutions
Store silver in anti-tarnish bags or wrapped in anti-tarnish cloth, and keep it dry
