Open Instagram and find the post you want to repost
Tap the paper airplane icon (Share)
Tap “Copy Link” (or “Copy Link to Post”)
Open Instagram again and go to your profile
Tap the “+” button to create a new post
Choose “Repost” (if available) or use a repost feature from a third-party app
Paste the copied link in the repost app (if prompted)
Select the repost format (feed post, story, or reel)
Adjust the crop, placement, and caption (if available)
Add credit to the original creator (if the app prompts or you choose to)
Post to your feed or story
For stories: tap “Add post to your story” (if the option appears) and customize, then share
For reels: use the “Share” option and follow the repost flow that appears for reels
