Turn on the device you want to control
Press and hold MUTE and SELECT until the green light flashes twice
Enter the 5-digit code for your TV, soundbar, or other device
Press POWER to test the remote
If the device turns off, the code worked
If it does not work, repeat with another code
To pair a Genie remote, press MENU
Go to Settings and Help
Select Settings
Select Remote Control
Select Program Remote
Choose the device type
Follow the on-screen prompts
If needed, reset the remote by removing the batteries
Reinsert the batteries and try programming again
