Preheat the oven to 375°F
Pat the turkey breast dry
Rub with oil or melted butter
Season with salt and pepper
Add any desired herbs or spices
Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan or baking dish
Put the turkey breast skin-side up
Roast until the internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part
Baste once or twice during roasting if desired
Remove from the oven
Let rest for 10 to 15 minutes
Slice and serve
