Choose a healthy aloe plant with firm, green leaves
Use a clean, sharp knife or scissors to cut a pup or offset from the mother plant
Let the cut end dry and callus for 1 to 3 days
Fill a pot with well-draining cactus or succulent soil
Make a small hole in the soil
Place the callused end into the hole
Firm the soil gently around the base
Do not water immediately
Wait 3 to 7 days before watering lightly
Place the pot in bright, indirect light
Water only when the soil is completely dry
Keep the plant in a warm location
Avoid overwatering
Repot once roots are established and new growth appears
