Take a healthy stem segment with 2 to 5 joints

Twist or cut the segment off at a joint

Let the cutting dry for 1 to 2 days

Moisten the soil lightly

Insert the bottom joint of the cutting about 1/2 inch into the soil

Firm the soil gently around the cutting

Place the pot in bright, indirect light

Avoid direct sun and overwatering

Check for roots after 2 to 4 weeks

Transplant into a larger pot after rooting if needed
