Power off the PS4 completely
Unplug the power cord and all cables
Remove any disc from the console
Work on a clean, static-free surface
Gather a Phillips screwdriver and a plastic pry tool
Remove the top cover
Remove the hard drive cover
Remove the hard drive screw and slide out the hard drive
Remove the bottom and rear screws
Release the clips holding the outer shell
Lift off the outer shell
Disconnect internal cables carefully
Remove the power supply screws and lift out the power supply
Remove the fan and heatsink screws
Disconnect the motherboard cables
Remove the motherboard screws
Lift out the motherboard
Keep screws and parts organized by step
Reassemble in reverse order
