Open Settings
Tap Cellular or Mobile Data
Tap Cellular Data Options or Mobile Data Options
Turn off Data Roaming
If needed, turn off Cellular Data to stop all mobile data use
To prevent calls and texts while traveling, turn on Airplane Mode
To avoid accidental roaming charges, keep Roaming off before and during travel
