Drink plenty of fluids like water, ORS, clear soups, and coconut water
Take small sips frequently if drinking feels difficult
Eat bland foods like rice, banana, toast, applesauce, and boiled potatoes
Avoid oily, spicy, fried, and heavy foods
Avoid milk and dairy products if they worsen symptoms
Rest as much as possible
Wash hands regularly to prevent spreading infection
Continue eating light meals if tolerated
Use ORS after each loose stool to prevent dehydration
Seek medical help if there is blood in stool, high fever, severe weakness, signs of dehydration, or symptoms lasting more than 2 days
