Wash your hands
Assemble the nebulizer parts
Add the prescribed medicine to the medicine cup
Attach the mouthpiece or mask
Connect the tubing to the compressor
Sit upright and place the mouthpiece in your mouth or the mask over your nose and mouth
Turn on the compressor
Breathe in slowly and deeply through your mouth
Hold each breath for a few seconds if possible
Continue until the mist stops or the medicine cup is empty
Turn off the compressor
Remove and clean the parts as directed
Wash your hands again
Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions for use and cleaning
