Shake the inhaler well before each use
Remove the cap and check the mouthpiece for debris
Breathe out fully before using the inhaler
Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and seal your lips around it
Press down on the inhaler once as you begin to breathe in slowly and deeply
Continue inhaling fully
Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, or as long as comfortable
Breathe out slowly
If a second puff is prescribed, wait about 1 minute before repeating
Replace the cap after use
Rinse your mouth if your healthcare provider advises it
Follow your prescribed dose and schedule exactly
Use a spacer if your healthcare provider recommends one
Clean the inhaler regularly according to the instructions
Seek medical help if your symptoms worsen or the inhaler is not helping
