Place a coffee filter in the basket
Add ground coffee to the filter
Close the filter basket
Place the carafe on the warming plate
Turn the coffee maker on
Wait for brewing to finish
Pour and serve the coffee
Turn the machine off after use
Clean the carafe, filter basket, and any removable parts after the machine cools down
