How to Write Multiple Authors in APA Reference?

List authors in the order they appear on the source

Use the last name followed by initials for each author

Separate two authors with an ampersand before the last author

Separate three or more authors with commas, and use an ampersand before the last author

In the reference list, include up to 20 authors

If there are more than 20 authors, list the first 19 authors, add an ellipsis, and then include the last author

Format example for two authors: Smith, J. A., & Brown, L. M.

Format example for three authors: Smith, J. A., Brown, L. M., & Lee, K. T.
