How To Cook Frozen Lobster?

Thaw the frozen lobster in the refrigerator overnight

If needed, place it in a sealed bag and submerge in cold water for 30 to 60 minutes

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil

Add the lobster to the boiling water

Cover the pot and cook until the shell turns bright red

Cook for about 8 to 12 minutes for a 1-pound lobster

Add 3 to 4 minutes for each additional pound

Remove the lobster with tongs

Drain and let it rest for a few minutes

Split the lobster and remove the meat before serving
