Park close to the air pump with the tire valve easily reachable
Turn off the engine and set the parking brake
Check the recommended tire pressure on the driver-side door sticker or owner’s manual
Remove the valve cap from the tire
Press the air hose chuck firmly onto the valve stem
Read the current pressure from the pump gauge if available
Add air in short bursts
Check the pressure frequently to avoid overinflating
Stop when the tire reaches the recommended pressure
Remove the chuck from the valve stem
Reinstall the valve cap
Repeat for each tire that needs air
Return the hose properly if required
Pay if the pump requires payment before or after use
