Tap latex from rubber trees or collect natural rubber latex
Filter the latex to remove impurities
Add preservatives or stabilizers if needed
Coagulate the latex using acid or another coagulant
Separate the rubber curds from the liquid
Wash the rubber to remove leftover chemicals
Roll the rubber into sheets or process it into blocks
Dry the rubber thoroughly
Blend with additives such as sulfur, carbon black, or oils if making vulcanized rubber
Heat and cure the rubber to vulcanize it
Cool and finish the rubber into the desired form
