Measure the canvas dimensions
Cut four frame pieces to size
Miter the frame corners at 45 degrees
Dry-fit the frame pieces
Glue the corners together
Clamp the frame until dry
Sand the frame smooth
Stain or paint the frame if desired
Attach the canvas to the frame
Secure the canvas with staples, nails, or clips
Add hanging hardware to the back
Check that the canvas is centered and tight
