Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
Split the lobster tails lengthwise with a sharp knife
Remove the vein and rinse the lobster
Pat the lobster dry
Brush the lobster meat with melted butter or oil
Season with salt and pepper
Place the lobster on the grill shell side down
Grill for 5 to 8 minutes, depending on size
Baste with butter while grilling
Cook until the meat is opaque and firm
Remove from the grill
Serve immediately with lemon and melted butter
