Choose a healthy pothos vine with several leaves and visible nodes
Use clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears
Cut a stem section just below a node
Make each cutting 4 to 6 inches long with at least 1 to 3 nodes
Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline
Place the cutting in a clean glass or jar filled with room-temperature water
Keep at least one node submerged in water
Set the jar in bright, indirect light
Change the water every 5 to 7 days
Rinse the jar and stems when changing the water
Wait for roots to grow several inches long
Transfer the cutting to soil once roots are well developed
Keep the soil lightly moist after transplanting
Trim and propagate multiple cuttings for a fuller plant
