Connect the wires to the outlet terminals
Connect ground wire properly
Install the GFCI outlet in the box
Attach a weatherproof cover
Seal wall openings with exterior-grade caulk
Restore power at the breaker
Test the outlet with a plug-in tester
Confirm GFCI trip and reset function
Inspect for proper weatherproofing and secure mounting
