Click the cell where you want the degree symbol
Press `Alt` + `0176` on the numeric keypad
On Mac, press `Option` + `Shift` + `8`
Go to `Insert` > `Symbol` and select `°`
Copy and paste `°` from another source
Use the formula `=CHAR(176)` in Excel
Type `30°` directly if the degree symbol is already available on your keyboard
