Press the Scroll Lock key on your keyboard
Use the On-Screen Keyboard and turn off ScrLk
On Windows, open On-Screen Keyboard by pressing Win + Ctrl + O
Click ScrLk to disable it
Check your laptop’s Fn key combination for Scroll Lock
Restart Excel after turning off Scroll Lock
Check the Excel status bar for Scroll Lock indicator
If using a Mac, check for a keyboard shortcut or external keyboard Scroll Lock key
Disconnect and reconnect the keyboard if the key is stuck
Update or reinstall the keyboard driver if the issue persists
