Open the grill lid
Make sure the burner control knobs are in the OFF position
Open the propane tank valve slowly by turning it counterclockwise
Turn on the gas at the tank fully
Turn one burner control knob to IGNITE or LIGHT
Press the igniter button if your grill has one
If the burner does not light, use the grill’s lighting instructions for manual ignition
Once the burner is lit, turn on additional burners as needed
Close the lid only after the grill is lit and running properly
