Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable surface
Open the lid and remove the filter basket
Insert a paper filter or use the permanent filter if included
Add ground coffee to the filter
Fill the water reservoir with cold water to the desired number of cups
Return the filter basket and close the lid
Place the empty coffee carafe on the warming plate
Press the power or brew button
Wait for the brewing cycle to finish
Remove the carafe carefully when brewing is complete
Pour and serve the coffee
Turn off the coffee maker if it does not shut off automatically
Clean the filter basket, carafe, and any removable parts after use
