Locate the Learn button on the garage door opener motor unit
Press and release the Learn button
Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button on the remote you want to program
Release the remote button when the opener light flashes or you hear a click
Test the remote to confirm it works
For a keypad, press and release the Learn button
Within 30 seconds, enter your PIN on the keypad and press the Enter button
Wait for the opener light to flash or hear a click
Test the keypad to confirm it works
To program a vehicle HomeLink system, press and hold the desired HomeLink button
While holding the HomeLink button, press the remote button until the opener light flashes
Release both buttons
Press the Learn button on the opener
Within 30 seconds, press the programmed HomeLink button for 2 seconds, then release
Repeat until the opener light flashes or the door moves
Test the HomeLink button
If programming fails, replace the remote battery
If programming still fails, clear the device memory and reprogram
