Install fresh batteries in the universal remote
Turn on the device you want to control
Find the correct code for your device brand in the remote manual or code list
Press and hold the Setup or Code Search button until the indicator light turns on
Press the device button for the type of device, such as TV, DVD, or AUX
Enter the device code using the number buttons
Wait for the indicator light to turn off or blink to confirm the code
Test the power, volume, and channel buttons
Repeat the code entry with another code if the remote does not work
Use the code search function if no code works
Press and hold the Setup or Code Search button
Press the device button
Press Power repeatedly until the device turns off
Press Enter or OK to save the code
Reprogram the remote if it loses connection or stops working
Replace the batteries if the remote does not activate properly
