Sign out of all Google accounts
Open Gmail in a browser
Sign in with the account you want to set as default first
Sign in to any other Google accounts afterward
Open Google Account settings if needed
Remove and re-add accounts if the default does not change
On mobile, set the desired account as the primary account on the device
Clear browser cookies if Gmail keeps using the old default
Use a separate browser profile for each default Gmail account
