Unplug the portable ice maker
Remove all ice from the basket and reservoir
Empty the water reservoir
Remove the ice basket and any removable parts
Wash removable parts with warm water and mild dish soap
Rinse removable parts thoroughly
Wipe the interior with a soft cloth or sponge
Clean the water reservoir with warm water and mild dish soap
Use a mixture of water and white vinegar for mineral buildup
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth
Clean the ice sensor and other accessible areas gently
Rinse all cleaned areas with fresh water
Dry all parts completely
Reassemble the ice maker
Run one or two cleaning cycles with clean water
Discard the first batch of ice after cleaning
Clean the ice maker regularly according to the manufacturer’s instructions
