Wash the headlight covers with car soap and water
Rinse thoroughly and dry with a microfiber cloth
Apply masking tape around the headlight edges
Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol or a plastic cleaner
Use a headlight restoration kit or fine-grit sandpaper if the covers are cloudy or yellowed
Sand in wet, even motions if needed, starting with a coarser grit and finishing with a finer grit
Rinse and dry after sanding
Apply polishing compound and buff with a clean microfiber cloth
Seal the headlight covers with a UV protectant or sealant
Repeat cleaning regularly to prevent buildup
