Heat a pan over medium heat
Add a small amount of oil if needed
Place the sausage in the pan
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side
Turn the sausage regularly until browned all over
Reduce heat if the outside is browning too quickly
Cook until the sausage is fully cooked through
Check that the internal temperature reaches 160°F for pork or beef sausage, or 165°F for poultry sausage
Remove from the pan
Let it rest for a minute before serving
