Preheat the oven to 400°F
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil
Place sausage patties on the baking sheet in a single layer
Leave space between each patty
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes
Flip the patties halfway through cooking
Cook until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for pork sausage or 165°F for poultry sausage
Remove from the oven
Let rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving
