Add the sausage link to the skillet
Cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides
Reduce heat if the sausage is browning too quickly
Continue cooking until the sausage reaches an internal temperature of 160°F for pork or 165°F for poultry
Remove from the skillet and let rest briefly before serving
