How To Cook Bass?

Rinse the bass fillets under cold water and pat them dry

Remove any remaining bones and scales

Season with salt and pepper

Heat a skillet over medium heat with oil or butter

Place the bass skin-side down if the skin is on

Cook for 3 to 5 minutes until the skin is crisp

Flip the fillets carefully

Cook for 2 to 4 more minutes until the fish flakes easily

Remove from the pan and let rest briefly

Serve with lemon, herbs, or your preferred sides
