Heat oven to 425°F
Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat
Add oil to the skillet
Place chicken thighs skin-side down
Cook until skin is browned and crisp
Flip the thighs
Transfer skillet to the oven
Bake until the internal temperature reaches 165°F
Remove from oven
Rest for 5 minutes
