Husk the sweet corn and remove the silk
Rinse the corn under water
Leave the corn slightly wet
Wrap each ear in a damp paper towel or place it in a microwave-safe dish with a lid
Microwave on high for 2 to 4 minutes per ear
Turn the corn halfway through if needed
Check for tenderness with a fork
Let it cool for 1 to 2 minutes
Carefully remove the husk or paper towel
Add butter, salt, or other seasonings if desired
