Clean the windshield area with glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth
Dry the crack completely
Apply clear packing tape over both sides of the crack if it is small and temporary protection is needed
Use a windshield repair kit for small chips or short cracks
Inject the resin into the crack according to the kit instructions
Remove air bubbles with the included tool or curing strip
Cure the resin in direct sunlight or with a UV lamp if required
Scrape off excess resin with a razor blade after curing
Avoid washing the car or exposing the crack to moisture until the repair is fully cured
Replace the windshield if the crack is long, spreading, in the driver’s line of sight, or near the edge
