How to Make Homemade Chips?

Wash and peel potatoes if desired

Slice potatoes thinly and evenly

Soak slices in cold water for 20 to 30 minutes

Drain and pat slices completely dry

Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F to 375°F

Fry potato slices in small batches until golden and crisp

Remove chips and drain on paper towels

Sprinkle with salt or seasonings while warm

Let chips cool before serving

Store in an airtight container if not eating right away
